Terms of Use

ZotAdvisor is an independent, experimental planning assistant for UCI students age 18 and older. It is not an official UCI advising, enrollment, transcript, or degree-audit service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and register with your own @uci.edu email address to participate in the private beta. Email ownership is not verified during registration.

Your information

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you upload or enter. Transcript import is optional. You authorize ZotAdvisor to process the structured academic fields needed to provide profile, prerequisite, degree-progress, and recommendation features as described in the Privacy Notice.

Recommendations

Recommendations may be generated with artificial intelligence and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are for reference only. Always verify prerequisites, degree requirements, enrollment restrictions, and deadlines with the UCI Catalogue, Registrar, DegreeWorks, or an authorized academic counselor before acting.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another person's account, bypass rate limits or security controls, disrupt the service, or upload material you are not authorized to use.

Private-beta availability

The service may change, pause, or lose test data during development. These terms and the Privacy Notice will be versioned when materially updated.

Account termination

You may delete your account through Student Profile. The operator may suspend access needed to protect users or the service from abuse.
